Bio

Actor, musician, and comedian Chris Sullivan graduated from Loyola Marymount University and immediately booked the national tour of the one man show Defending the Caveman.

The tour landed Sully in Chicago where he studied at Improv Olympics and performed at the Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare, Royal George and the Court in plays such as The Hairy ApeDon't Dress for Dinner, Tony Kushner's The Illusion, and Mystery of Irma Vep (for which he was nominated for the Jefferson Award).

On a day off from The Illusion, Sully flew to NYC to audition for his first Broadway gig, the role of 'Taylor' in Lombardi.  During that run, Chris booked the role of 'Amos' in Chicago.  While doing that, he booked one of the leads in the new Gershwin musical, Nice Work If You Can Get It starring Matthew Broderick and Kelli O'Hara.

Most recently, he appeared in Mikael Roskum’s The Drop with Tom Hardy and guest star roles in The Americans, Elementary, and SVU, as well as an  appearance in HBO’s The Normal Heart.

In his spare time, he writes music and plays with his band "Sully and the Benevolent Folk."
