Antony Starr


Antony Starr, a New Zealand native, combines effortless charm and a dark sex appeal that transcends both the big and small screens.

Antony makes his American television debut as Lucas Hood in "Banshee."

He will next be seen in the Australian Independent film, "Wish You Were Here." In 2011, Antony starred in the fourth season of the popular Australian drama series, "Rush." Antony starred in the critically acclaimed independent feature, "After the Fall," directed by Simone Horrocks, and the New Zealand Television series, "Spies & Lies"; he received Best Actor AFTA Award nominations for each performance.

In 2006, Antony was cast in the dual roles of twins Van and Jethro West in "Outraegous Fortune," a show that has grown into the most popular and longest running drama series in New Zealand's television history. Playing twins won Antony the 2007 Air New Zealand Screen Award for Best Performance by an Actor, the award for Best Actor at the Qantas Television Awards, and Best Actor at the Asian TV Awards, in the same year. Readers of TV Guide also voted Antony Best Actor in 2007 and TV Guide's Best on the Box People's Choice Award.
