Eve Hewson

Eve Hewson is quickly becoming one of her generation's brightest young talents.

She stars opposite Clive Owen in Steven Soderbergh's The Knick, a 10-part series for Cinemax. Hewson will play Lucy, a young, naïve nurse from the South, who has come to New York for adventure. Hewson was most recently seen co-starring in Nicole Holofcener's Enough Said opposite James Gandolfini and Julia Louis Dreyfus.

Hewson starred opposite Sean Penn and Frances McDormand in Paolo Sorrentino's This Must Be the Place, which made its world premiere at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.

In 2010, Hewson starred as Della in For the First Time, a 16-minute short about an Irish couple trying to make it in New York City. The film was pared down and made into a music video for Irish band The Scripts' song of the same name.

Her first feature film, Erica Dunton's acclaimed indie hit The 27 Club, premiered at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival marking her debut on the big screen.

Born in Dublin, Hewson currently resides in Los Angeles and is a graduate of NYU.
