Beautifully shot, and heart-wrenching in its simple depiction of a young boy yearning to live a normal life, Sari's Mother shows the tragic ramifications of terrorism, war and occupation in Iraq, as a rural mother struggles to overcome layers of indifference and bureaucracy in finding suitable healthcare options that might keep her young son alive.
