Cast and Crew
Vanessa Broze
ON THE SET FACTS:

The infamous "tube-shot," where Julia (in episode 1) is first revealed by Penny, required being covered in goop, wires, make-up and incased in a confined tube for hours... and when it was all done, the creator/producers decided they liked it so much that they wanted another shot of it for the opening of episode 1, but this time with much more "new born" make-up!
Levi Freeman
ON THE SET FACTS:

Levi is the one actor who is nothing like his character, which is probably a good thing, considering that he plays someone who's dubious motivations are never quite clear. No matter how intense the scene, or how dastardly the deed he might be performing on camera, Levi could quickly snap back with a smile or a joke.
Austin Ball
ON THE SET FACTS:

Austin had the misfortune of playing the one character who isn't ever portrayed as cool or suave, in fact, he's often the blunt of every joke -- which reached it's apex when (in episode 10) he was strapped to a metal table while wearing an extremely dorky super-hero costume, complete with short-shorts and tiny booties.
Joanne Alderson
ON THE SET FACTS:

Joanne quickly became fast-friends with co-star Levi Freeman, often laughing and breaking into (loud) singing between takes -- their favorites: showtunes and hip-hop.
Noelle DuBois
ON THE SET FACTS:

Noelle got so into her role that most of the cast and crew started calling her Penny, even when the cameras weren't rolling. In fact, when the show's creator mentioned that the character's inspiration came from the song "Chick Habit", Noelle began blasting it in her trailer every single day.
